The
Green and White Ball, held on 26th December 2001, was organized
by the Interact Club. The Ball was named "Deja vu".
As the highlight of Josephians' Christmas, a large crowd of
finely dressed couples waited impatiently outside our New
Hall at about six.
Fantastic sounding, lighting and decoration
turned the hall into a stylish and elegant ballroom. Scented
mist surrounded the place and our organizer, James Wong, and
gave a short speech. This year we are grateful to invite the
old boys, Paul Lee and Alvin Wan, to be the MC.Heavy rock
music first warmed our timid guests. Some classical oldies
soon followed and before long our couples were entirely immersed
in the romantic melodies. Fluorescent lighting and gentle
tunes created an enigmatic air. Our dancers were carried away
by the romantic and charming melodies. After a short break,
the ball had reached its climax – the selection of the Green
and White Couple. and The prizes were delivered by our principal,
Rev. Bro. Thomas. Then the exciting lucky draw followed.
At midnight, participants left reluctantly with memories of
joy, and the Green and White Ball came to its end with the
cheers of our dancers. Certainly our guests had an unforgettable
night at St. Joseph's.
